A #pittsburghfail
I saw a screenshot of this email posted on Facebook and I thought, certainly, this can’t be real. I wanted to make sure this is the actual text that went out in the email from the Trump campaign. I found the same information on the Trump website here.
On Monday, October 21, the campaign sent out an email saying with the following:
CAN’T STOP, WON’T STOP – Working at McDonalds, a town hall, a Stealers game – no one is working harder than President Trump to Make America Great Again! Watch the recap video here.
Mistakes happen, but I would have thought the Steeler Nation would request a fix to this typo.
To be fair, I’ve seen a few typos in emails from the Harris emails campaign. The recent information sent to attendees for the 10/15 Tim Walz event at Acrisure Stadium suggested guests take the Metropark. Pittsburgh’s subway is not named Metropark.
In the grand scheme of things, both of these are examples of minor typos. Steelers fans might disagree. I also know the campaign staff who are putting together these emails are working hard and are probably exhausted.

Character of the candidates //This morning’s episode of The Daily, “12 Days to Go: French Fries and Fascism,” includes an interview with reporter Michael Schmidt. Schmidt interviewed John Kelly, who served as Trump’s chief of staff. The one thing that stood out to me was the discussion of the character of the two candidates. I could not help but wonder what Fred Rogers would say about character and leadership.
Does it matter where the candidates campaign? // This is a long read from the Substack newsletter “Why is Trump campaigning in blue states?” It contains a lot of data on whether the location of campaign rallies matters.
Ukrainian American voting block // I saw a mention of this rally on 10/26 in Philadelphia on Facebook.
